Marketing Coordinator | Calgary

Position Summary:

This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives & Marketing, and works in conjunction with the rest of the Marketing team to provide marketing support to Aspen Properties, Aspen Flex and the Calgary Tower.

Regular work hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Communications: Assists in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies across all Aspen brands (Aspen corporate, Leasing, Aspen Flex, Aspen Club, Calgary Tower, etc), ensuring brand consistency and alignment with business objectives. This includes email marketing, copywriting, messaging, blogging, website copy, campaign strategy, and building of existing brands and launching new brands.

  • Digital Content and Social Media Marketing: Manages organic and paid content creation and distribution across social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Utilizes platforms like SEMRush for scheduling and leverages creative tools for engaging content such as reels.

  • Website Maintenance: Ensure all company website information is up-to-date and consistent with company brand guidelines.

  • Campaign and Annual Marketing Planning: Coordinates and implements marketing campaigns and constructs annual marketing plans to meet strategic goals.

  • Video and Photo Project Coordination: Coordinates video and photo content from concept to completion, including storyboarding and aligning video and photo content with overall marketing objectives.

  • Collaborative Teamwork and Independent Initiative: Works in collaboration with various departments while also driving independent projects to fruition, reflecting a balance of teamwork and individual contribution.

  • Special Projects: Undertakes special projects and other duties as the evolving needs of the marketing department demand.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or College diploma in Marketing

  • 3+ years of marketing and content creation experience preferred

  • Marketing portfolio is an asset

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to tailor the style, tone, and voice to represent our various lines of business and differing content

  • Social media experience including YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok

  • Familiarity with web design and development tools, such as Wix, Webflow, and Framer.

  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts and tight deadlines

  • Experience implementing and using CRMs platforms an asset

  • Video content creation experience an asset

  • Graphic Design experience an asset

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Honesty and integrity combined with a high level of initiative and dedication

  • Successful City of Calgary Police Check and Educational Check
